BOKLAND was established in 1956 by Barbara and George Bokland. Swedish immigrants with a passion for photography and cinematography, they started BOKLAND as a photo printing and film processing business.
In 1979 Rick, son of Barbara and George, took over. With an eye towards the future in an ever changing industry, Rick initiated BOKLAND's shift to a full-service custom color lab.
BOKLAND experienced its second transfer of ownership in November of 2021 when family and long-time employee's Denise and Brian Corbett purchased the company. Still innovative and client-centered they are ushering BOKLAND into a new era characterized by American ingenuity and Swiss precision.
